Let's see, from what I've learned,

1. The proper term is powder glass not sandcast b/c this bead was not cast(made)in sand. It was likely made in a vertical bead mold from very fine(powdered)bits of glass.

2. The design term for this one is only limited to your imagination. I suppose it resembles "eyes".

3. There seem to be a few variations of what are called zen beads and these just may fit in.

4. I'll agree, it is a drawn twisted bead.

5. This one is too dificult to see from your image. But, I'd like it to be a Venetian lampwound trail-decorated "fancy" bead.

Finfan, these really do need to be inspected more closely, please send them over for further examination.
