Hi Yankee, I'd love to see your Phoenician glass as well! It helps to see ALL the aspects of glass use during a period.
Your unknown bead looks "water worn" at the hole, and the stripes a bit too wide apart. Yet I certainly wouldn't bet that it's new. I hope it turns out to be another fine example of ancient art!
