This is an interesting dilemna on this one. At a glance, the festoned pattern (dragged or combed), looks like recent reproductions that I havce seen surface recently. The first picture of the perforation also looks relatively new. The second picture makes it look older though.

I must say that it does not compare favoravly with any other bead from ancient times that I have seen, but that of course does not rule out the bead as new. It could still be a pattern that I have missed, or am unfamiliar with. Does the wear of the holes lokk right to you, how about the surface, is the wear commensurate, or equal to the wear at the holes.

Congratulations on a great harvest of beads from your bead hunt though, they look very interesting and should give you many hours of happy research.
