Thank you for the information on the beads. How does someone determine the age of beads? Some of these are fairly worn, especially the holes, though this can't be seen in the pictures. Many had dirt built up on them (it took me a few washings to clean them up). Pictures 1, 2 and some on 9 were sold to me on a strand of wire. I bought them because I liked them as I had never seen anything like them before and I did not spend too much for them. They seemed really earthy so I framed a few of the ones I liked best and have them hanging in the dining room. One more question, does modern mean that they were made within the last 5, 10, 20 years?
